Make Windstream Email Login Access Easy On iPhone By Configuring Its Email Setting

To permanently set up your account, you will have to configure the right Windstream email settings for incoming and outgoing mail servers. 

Step 1: Start any email client installed on your iPhone. 

Step 2: Navigate towards the ‘Settings’ tab amongst the other options and click on it to open.

Step 3: Browse the ‘Settings’ menu options and click on the ‘Mails’ or ‘Mail, Contacts, and Calendars’ option as per your iPhone version.

Step 6: At first, enter the following Windstream email login credentials to complete the first phase: Login Information,

Your Windstream username.

Your Windstream email ID.

Email Password.

Step 7: Before moving further, click on the tab next to the ‘Description’ and enter a text related to your Windstream account. To proceed, click on the ‘Continue’.

 

Step 8: Select ‘POP3’ among the options given as the server type of your Windstream email account. 

Step 9: Once the Account Type has been confirmed, land on the Email Settings page and write ‘pop.windstream.net’ as the ‘Hostname for the POP3 Incoming Mail Server’.

Step 10: You will also have to enter the ‘Email Address’ and ‘Password’ for verifying the Authentication process. 

Step 11: Move to the ‘POP3 Outgoing Mail Server’ and in front of the ‘Hostname for the Outgoing Mail Server’ tab, enter ‘smtp.windstream.net’.

Step 12: If you are asked to enter the credentials again, provide them and click on the ‘Next’ button. 

Step 13: After a while, a ‘Verification message for Windstream email Settings’ message will pop up on the iPhone screen, click on the ‘Continue’.

Step 14: After clicking on the ‘Continue’ button, you will see the iPhone device is configuring the entered email settings. 

Step 15: Then, click on the ‘Yes’ button and complete setting up your email account on iPhone device.
